The headphones, which are handmade at Starnberg, also impress with their black, ruthenium-look ear cups. A key feature of the Edition M Plus is ULTRASONE, s patented S-Logic Plus technology, in which the drivers are not installed in the center of the ear cups, but offset slightly downward. As a result, the outer ear is addressed first, resulting in a spectacularly wide and natural-sounding stereo image - without the in-the-head localization typical of conventional headphones.
