Rubber-Cal's Eco-Sport Tiles are a 1 in. thick recycled rubber floor tile available in 4 colors, Coal, Blue, Green, and Terra Cotta. These tiles are designed to withstand the most abrasive conditions, serving as a premium flooring and protection product. These recycled rubber tiles are excellent for indoor or outdoor applications due the high contents of EPDM (i.e. a UV resistant elastomer) found in the recycled tire rubber. Recycled rubber is a superior material when trying to reduce noise, contain vibration, and absorb shock from workout equipment. These products are manufactured for durability and are designed for residential or commercial applications exposed to heavy foot traffic. The polyurethane based binder used while manufacturing enhances its anti-fatigue qualities. Each tile is fabricated from thousands of rubber granules and offers underfoot comfort and support along with the resilience to cushion the shock of running, exercising, walking and standing. This product offers an interlocking mechanism (plastic connector pin), and the tile has 2 holes on each of the 4 sides resulting in 5 connector pins per tile which makes for an easy installation method. These pins are made of hard plastic with ferruled edges, holding them in place inside the tile. When coming to a wall, you can simply trim the tiles with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge guide to easily cut the product to your specific needs, making for a very simple and easy DIY installation.
