Summit's European gas cooktops bring true precision and elegant design to smaller kitchen spaces. Model GC5272B2 is uniquely sized at 27 in. wide, but fits 21.77 in. W x 18.63 in. cutouts often filled by smaller 24 in. 4-burner models. The GC5272B2 includes 5 sealed Sabaf burners, including an ultra-rapid dual flame 11,000 BTU burner for large cooking vessels, a 10,000 BTU rear burner ideal for boiling large pots of water, two semi-rapid 6,100 BTU burners for side dishes and smaller saucepans and a 1,200 to 3,550 BTU auxiliary burner ideal for melting chocolate, butter or other more sensitive cooking applications. This model features a jet black surface in a matte finish, with upfront color-matched push-to-turn knobs, ensuring you won't have to reach over hot burners to manage your cooking. Thermocouple flame failure ensures the gas turns off if the flame is accidentally extinguished without turning the burner off. Continuous heavy duty cast iron grates hold up well to heavy cookware. We include a removable wok ring that makes it easier to ensure even heating on larger cooking vessels. The GC5272B2 includes a pre-installed 115-Volt power cord to power the electronic spark ignition. It ships set for natural gas but also includes a kit for easy conversion to LP/propane gas connections.
