Ultra-Thin TCE1.5 The TCE provides a free-standing solution whenever or wherever a dedicated center channel speaker cannot be installed or mounted. A Truly Unique Problem Solver TCE stands for Thin Center Eliminator--What is a "center eliminator" Well, just like Phase Tech's classic CI-150 in-wall speaker, the TCE1.5 provides discreet three-channel performance out of only two speaker cabinets. The upper portions of both speakers handle the dedicated left and right content, but the lower portions of each TCE1.5 act as discreet mono center channels which are fed the same center mix from the source, collapsing the sound into a center image. This creates the illusion of a center channel speaker right in the middle of the left and right speakers.
