The GatorTrax Electric covers are constructed out of LEXAN which is a lightweight, impact-resistant material. LEXAN is the same material that is used for bullet-proof glass and airplane windows. Aluminum support rods embedded in the LEXAN to add extra strength and support against weight on top of the cover. The exterior of the cover comes in gloss black or matte black. Opening and closing the GatorTrax Elecric is easy with the key fob remote. An electromagnetic brake allows you to lock the cover in any position. That way you can have your cover partially closed when hauling a larger item or pulling your 5th wheel trailer. The GatorTrax Electric even has an LED light built into the cover to illuminate the entire bed at night. The bed light is operated with your remote and has an auto shutoff after 3 minutes.
